Cruise highlights include snorkelling on The Great Sea Reef, a Hindu snake temple, a Bollywood show and the bustling spice markets at Labasa.
Experience the unspoilt natural beauty of remote Fiji on an 11 night voyage of discovery to the Lau Islands and Kadavu. Cruise highlights include waterfall swimming, exploring caves and crystal lagoons, meeting locals who rarely see tourists and getting up close to some incredible wildlife including nesting turtles, snakes and birdlife.
Nadi International Airport on the island of Viti Levu is the main gateway to Fiji for most visitors and when you arrive in Nadi. The Mamanuca Islands are situated just off the west coast, close enough to the mainland that you can see them from the shoreline. This means they are easily accessible in a number of ways, whether you hire a boat, catch a ferry or charter a seaplane but the best is aboard a small ship cruise vessel. Not only are the Mamanuca Islands the closest group of islands to Nadi, but they are also arguably the most beautiful, with their picturesque postcard white sandy beaches, crystal clear waters and swaying coconut palms.
The Yasawa Islands are located north west of Fiji’s largest island Viti Levu and there are 16 islands that make up the Yasawa island group. Together they stretch a total distance of approximately 90 kilometres and because they were formed as a result of volcanic activity, they are much larger and more rugged than other Fijian islands and stand high above the sea. Key islands to visit in the Yasawa group include Drawaqa Island, where you can dive with manta rays, Kuata Island, where you can snorkel with sharks and the northern island of Sawa-i-lau, which is home to the famous limestone caves and aqua blue lagoon.
Small ship cruising is about reducing the overall size of a vessel so it can travel where large cruise ships can’t go, without reducing any of its luxurious appointments. Catering for up to 130 passengers, MV Reef Endeavour is purpose-built for the job and its intimate size ensures an informal and relaxed atmosphere in which every passenger receives personal attention. The ship has four separate levels of accommodation and offers a choice of 63 suites, ocean staterooms and porthole cabins. Each cabin is approximately 14 or 28 square metres in size and feature air-conditioning and its own private ensuite bathroom.
Whatever type of traveller you are, small ship cruising is a fantastic option. We offer the luxuries of a large cruise liner but with fewer passengers, meaning more attentive service, more relaxed cruising and the chance to visit places where larger ships can’t go. If you want a family holiday, we cater for kids between 5 and 17 and have a Captain’s Kids Club to keep them entertained. If you want a vacation with lots of experiences, we have loads of activities available with twice daily island and reef visits. If you’re on a busy schedule, we offer short 3 and 4 night cruises or if you want the fully immersive Fiji experience, our 7 or 11 night tours are perfect for you .
Each one of our small ship itineraries are unique so our guests can make the most of their experience with us. Our 3 & 4 night cruises offer visits including Monuriki, islands in the Mamanuca group and the Yasawa Islands. Combining both itineraries offers an amazing 7 day trip to Fiji. For those looking to experience as much of Fiji as possible, our 7 night remote north discovery cruises offer a traditional island experience.
