NOTE: Please use the legend to find your itinerary
Arrive at the Captain Cook Cruises Fiji check-in counter in Port Denarau this morning to check in for your cruise. Board Caledonian Sky and set sail over a light lunch through the beautiful Mamanuca islands. Start your expedition cruise with a plunge into the crystal blue waters of Nuku-i-mana sand cay for an afternoon swim and snorkel. Tonight experience the first of many South Pacific sunsets as we join the Captain and crew for Welcome Dinner.
Sail to idyllic Monoriki where Tom Hanks’ Castaway was filmed. Immerse yourself in this cinematic setting with a guided kayak tour and discover the underwater wonders of Monu Island as you snorkel the surrounding coral reef before visiting a local village and experiencing their choral service. The beautiful harmonies will simply delight you.
The Sacred Island is a place beautiful beyond belief. Legends tell of the great war canoe `Rogoboka' which landed here with the first Fijians. On arrival the ship's crew pay tribute to the forefathers and perform the Sevusevu (gift giving) ceremony. Spend a magical morning swimming in the aquamarine lagoons, snorkeling in spectacular coral gardens, or coral viewing from the zodiacs or the kayaks with a marine biologist.
In the afternoon, visit Waya Island. Enclosed by towering volcanic peaks and palm fringed beaches, Waya Island is a tropical paradise. Visit the local school and village, peruse the shell market or climb to the peak of Waya for amazing views.
Enjoy breakfast onboard as we return to Lautoka for a 9:00am disembarkation. Our crew bid you farewell in song including their traditional Fijian ‘Isa Lei’ as they say ‘soto tale’ or ‘see you again’. Transfers will be available to the Airport, Port Denarau hotels and the Port Denarau Marina.
