Cruise amongst the breathtaking scenery of Mamanuca and Southern Yasawa Islands on this spectacular small ship adventure. Designed for those with limited time, it allows you to enjoy the best of this extraordinary part of the world in 3 unforgettable nights.
You’ll sail through the Mamanuca Island group to Nuku-I-Mana cay, a famously beautiful location renowned for its excellent snorkelling. The Mamanucas are Fiji’s most popular island group, made up of 20 palm fringed islands that are home to some of Fiji’s most exclusive resorts. With stunning white sand beaches, warm turquoise water, swaying coconut palms and amazing coral gardens, you’ll be completely captivated by their untouched beauty.
Continuing your journey, you’ll visit Monuriki, the sheltered island where the classic movie Cast Away starring Tom Hanks was filmed. With a very ‘deserted island’ feel, it boasts an incredible beach, excellent kayaking and snorkelling spots teeming with ocean life and amazing coral gardens.
You’ll also cruise to the Sacred Island, which is steeped in Fijian history and folklore to take part in a gift-giving ceremony and then visit Waya, where you can meet the villagers or climb to this volcanic island’s lookout. The Yasawa island group is made up of 16 islands stretching a total distance of 90 kilometres. Formed by volcanic activity, they are more rugged than the Mamanucas and are the ideal place to experience pristine natural beauty.
All the while, as you take in this breathtaking scenery, you’ll be enjoying the many facilities that MV Reef Endeavour has to offer, including fully catered buffets and 3-course meals, massage services, jacuzzi and cocktail bar, mini gym and freshwater swimming pool.
Our Mamanuca & Southern Yasawa Islands small ship adventure is ideal for those with busy schedules who want to take a quick break and unwind. Departing 12pm Saturdays and returning 9am Tuesdays, it’s the perfect quick getaway for recharging your batteries.

MV Reef Endeavour is a small cruise ship catering for 130 passengers over 4 accommodation levels. Her small size allows her to negotiate remote islands, reefs and shallow bays where bigger ships are unable to go, showcasing the real Fiji and giving our passengers a true cultural experience.
Find Out More & View Deck PlanA smaller ship doesn’t mean fewer amenities. Our cruise packages include all meals, which are a contemporary fusion of international and Fijian flavours and are prepared fresh daily onboard. We also have a Captain’s Kids Club for children aged 5-9 years and a gym, jacuzzi and freshwater swimming pool for chilling between shore visits. And if you’re keen to learn more about Pacific Island ecology, we have a resident marine biologist onboard to answer your questions and give presentations. Also included are daily island stopovers and water activities such as kayaking, stand up paddle boards and snorkelling, plus guided island, traditional village and school tours, lovo feasts and kava ceremonies.
Not everyone can afford to take weeks out of their busy schedule for a holiday. In today’s fast paced world, getting a break can often mean squeezing in a few days of downtime here or there and this is exactly what our 3 night small ship cruises are all about. They are designed to provide busy singles, couples and families with a holiday that includes many of the highlights of a longer break, but in a shorter time frame. Our 3 night cruise to Mamanuca & Southern Yasawa Islands departs noon on Saturdays and returns 9am Tuesdays and if you’re really short on time, we can even collect or drop you off at many of the destinations that we cruise to.
MV Reef Endeavour is purpose-built for small ship cruising, with a capacity to cater for just 130 passengers. This not only ensures a more relaxed cruising atmosphere, but guarantees each guest receives attentive personal service. Another advantage of our smaller size is our ability to visit destinations larger ships can’t, which has allowed us to forge special bonds with remote Fijian villages and provide our guests with unique insights into their lifestyles. The best thing of all about small ship cruising is we still have the capacity to provide the luxury amenities found on large cruise liners, including swimming pool, gym, sauna, two bars and much more.
The beauty of small ship cruising is that it caters for everyone. If you enjoy the luxury appointments of a large cruise liner, small ship cruising has the amenities. If you enjoy the intimacy of a local cruise company that celebrates Fijian culture and ecology, we have a resident marine biologist onboard. If you want a family holiday, we cater for kids with our Captain’s Kids Club. If you want an active vacation, we have a range of water-based activities available daily and if you have limited time, we have limited 3 and 4 night cruises to fit in with your busy lifestyle. There’s literally something for everyone with small ship cruising.
As well as the length of time they take and the places they visit, our 3, 4, 7 and 11 night cruises are designed with different types of travellers in mind. Our short 3 and 4 night cruises are perfect for people living busy lives who really want a break but can’t spare a whole lot of time. Our 7 night cruises are aimed at two different groups; one exploring Fiji’s rich colonial past and the other celebrating the four distinct cultures that make up Fiji’s people. And our 11 night remote island tour is for those who love cruising and want to fully immerse themselves in the Fijian experience.
